This work, 'spell of the sensuous', was inspired by David Abrams book of the same title, at the time I read it, it added a new dimension to my theoretical perspectives, it was sometime later it became an artistic expression.

what they said never quite permeated the fabric
born to nature, a beautiful weave
the warp only tight in places

i had no words, none were suficient
the beauty of the primitive
not so unsophisticated

nature cannot be evil
that leaves my self part empty
denied, disembodied, much sadder

the missing threads, now found
the spell of the sensuous
that mends this tapestry
